Underfloor Heating
Electric system
As an alternative to a 'wet underfloor system' we can offer an electric system. This method of heating is ideal for single rooms, ie bathrooms, en-suites or kitchens where you can experience the luxury of a warm tiled floor with minimal disruption.
Electric floor heating can also be used for the whole house under other floor coverings such as wood, laminate or carpet.
The underfloor heating is provided in a matting or cable form which is available in various sizes and is 4mm thick. It can provide up to 200W/m2, therefore this type of heating can be used as the main heat source. The matting is simple to fit and again full instructions accompany each purchase. The temperature is easily controlled by a built in thermostat and/or thermostatic timer.
