Why install an underfloor heating system?

Manifold
Greener Heat uses a compact, self-regulating manifold for it’s Underfloor heating which has been designed especially for ease of installation and is available with up to 13 groups. These manifolds have unrivalled response times and are especially good for use with high efficiency boilers. The compact plus is for larger commercial projects which is available for up to 20 groups. The ‘LT’ (low temperature) manifold is identical to the compact above but without the pump and regulating valve. Ideal for use with heatpumps and combination boilers the LT is available up to 20 groups making ideal for any type of project including larger commercial buildings.
Pipe
The only underfloor heating pipe we use is a flexible 5 layered polyethelene PE-RT composite pipe with a 50 year guarantee, is CE approved and has a life expectancy in excess of 100 years. The standard oxygen diffusion layer is located in the centre of the pipe and this pipe is shown to be stronger, more flexible and resistant to heat and ageing. This pipe is installed in continuous runs so there are no joins under the floor.

Thermostatic Controls
All Underfloor heating are controlled by individual roomstats located in each living space. Overall control is managed by a clock programmer, As our roomstats are low voltage it is possible to locate roomstats in bathrooms etc. Greener Heat are able to offer a hard wired or wireless (rf) systems depending on your requirements. All electrical installations are simple with diagrams and instructions provided in the installation manual which accompanies every system. All underfloor heating quotes automatically include the cost of the hardwired system with the price for upgrading to wireless shown as an optional extra.
