Biomass Heating
With the advances in the technology of biomass boilers, wood and pellet stoves, this ancient form of keeping warm is now a real alternative to old fashioned oil and gas boilers. Whats more the carbon neutral nature of biomass fuel and the low impact of transporting locally sourced fuel, biomass boilers and stoves can be the most environmentally friendly heating system available. With efficiencies of up to 95%, and the lower cost of biomass fuels, compared to fossil fuels, installing a biomass heating system can not only reduce your emissions but save you money.
What is a biomass heating?
Biomass heating systems include biomass boilers, wood and pellet stoves that are integrated into your heating system, and so typically provides hot water and space heating for your building. These systems combust biomass fuels through a process called gasification, to produce heat, which creates ash and CO2 as waste products. Typical biomass fuels include manufactured fuel pellets, wood chips, seasoned logs and other waste wood that can be burnt as fuel.
ETA Biomass Boilers
Our biomass partner ETA specializes in logwood, pellets and wood chips. They have range of well designed high-efficiency products and they use the latest technology to develop them while using clean emissions, simple operation and minimal energy requirements. All ETA heating boilers have Lambda probes to reduce the amount of emissions efficiently and cleanly. It has modern computer processing and control with the use of wood as fuel. The ETA boilers are no doubt some of the most efficient and automatic pellet burning boilers made in the world to date. We have a range of ETA products so feel free to read more about them and see how they could benefit you.
ETA biomass boilers are voted rank #1 in product quality and #2 in installation convenience in the German energy market.
Custom designing your system
We take a systems approach when installing a biomass boiler or wood stove, by looking at how to seamlessly integrate your new solid fuel boiler into your existing system. We not only look at the plumbing side of installing biomass heating, but also the practicality of fuel storage in silos with automatic feeding systems. Our aim is to offer comfort through complete control. Biomass heating systems can be configured with other complementary heating systems such as solar thermal, to offer you the highest levels of comfort and the lowest running costs throughout the year. Our local installers can custom design a system which suits your needs, optimising your hot water storage tank (thermal store) requirements to reduce the number of ignitions you need in the summer.
