ETA SH Log wood Boiler
Ranging from 20 – 60kw this range of log wood boilers are ideal for situations where plentiful supplies of log wood is available, a certain amount of manual input is required but the ETA SH strives to keep this to a minimum.
The generously sized fuel chamber accommodates enough half-meter length logs to ensure filling is only necessary once per day. The clever “Ember Retention” feature ignites the fuel when the fuel chamber is replenished, as a result no paper or kindling is required for re-igniting the boiler.
In theory, the ideal fuel is air dried (2 years) split beech logs, however this is not always possible. In most situations, whether you burn beech, spruce, poplar or even wood briquettes, the ETA`s combustion control system with Lambda Probe will automatically adapt to the wood being used. Should the supply of log wood be unreliable the ETA SH P log wood boiler can be easily adapted to automatically burn pellets with the addition of the ETA Twin.
Combined with the ETA stratified buffer tanks, the integration of solar thermal energy is possible, utilizing the endless supply of the sun’s free energy.
