What is underfloor heating?
There are two types of underfloor heating systems - Electric systems, which are made up of electric heated matts and wet systems where heated water circulates in polyethylene pipes around your property. Both methods are installed within the floor. The heat produced from underfloor heating systems comprises 70% radiant heat and 30% convection heat. Floor heating is as close as you can get to the ideal heating curve.

As standard, their five-layered PE-RT pipe with an oxydiffusions barrier comes with a 50 year warranty. This highly certified pipe is manufactured in Germany to the strictest of standards to ensure the quality of the final product. All systems are completely automated with wireless thermostatic controls and room stats. This continuously monitors the room temperature throughout your property, adjusting the flow of the heating circuit through the manifolds and onto each individual zone.
Custom designing your system
We have been designing and installing underfloor heating systems since 2001 and over this time we have installed systems in both commercial and domestic projects, we have even installed a system in a home featured in Channel 4‘s Grand Designs. The vast amount of experience we have accrued over many years gives us the knowledge and the skills to find a solutions that will meet your heating needs.
We offer a full design service to ensure that your system, when installed, can provide all the heat you need and provides you with the control your require. The heating output of a system is controlled by the pipe ‘centres‘, i.e. how much pipe per sqm, too little pipe and the system won’t keep you warm, too much and you’ve wasted money. The system is controlled by thermostats operating ‘zones’. Too few thermostats, or too larger zones and you lose control over your heating system; reducing your comfort and increasing the running costs.
